I took Aiden for his shots Tuesday,and he cried initially,but after the shot the vet rubbed the area for a good 5 minutes while talked to me,and he was fine. I would call the vet. Rubbing it afterward helps the body absorb it better. (that's what the doc tell me when I get cortisone shots) They're pushing alot of medication in one squirt. I'm sure he'll be o.k.
