Years ago our big cats could and did push out the screens in our home. They weren't the best of quality and didn't fit the windows very tightly. Fortunately the drop to the ground was no more than 4 feet and they jumped higher than that all of the time to get on the cabinets, so they never got hurt.
Can you nail the screen frame into the window frame?
