 Ripping out stitches
So Franklin got neutered yesterday and he's driving me NUTS! We put a onesie on him so he wouldn't bother his stitches but the problem is... he can't pee with the onesie on! He's paper trained so he has always gone whenever he wants. I feel bad because now I don't know when he has to go.. he hasn't gone all day so I've been leaving the onesie open. Well this of course leads to him obsessively licking and pulling at his stitches. They are starting to get red.
Do you guys think an e-collar would be better? I'd feel bad putting one on him and he is so cute with his onesie... Where you even buy an e-collar?
I had another idea... the Bitter Apple spray bottle says it "discourages fur biting, hair chewing, and hot spots" Do you think it'd be safe to spray some on a paper towel and wipe it around the incision area? |
