I would say it is dominence. Jaxon will get all Cujo on any other dog that startles him or is too rough, but never actually bites them. He is just letting him know that enough is enough. It startled me the first couple of times he did it, but it was always to more rambunctious dogs or bigger dogs that he may be a little frightened of. Maybe bring that yorkie to your house & try to let them bond again. Hope this helps! Kay
