I'm fairly new to the bredding of Yorkies, but we (my mother) use to breed Standrard poodles. If the mom is signaling out the tiny boy, it is mostly becasue she thinks something is wrong. Every 2-3 hours is normal for mom to go in with them the first few weeks. If need be I would confine mom to an area to keep her with them or use a heating pad to keep their bodies warm when mom isn't around. Not every female is a good mother. Does he suck?? Your friend can always make mom lay down and make her feed him or she can do the bottle herself (mothers milk is best) Please keep us informed. And tell your friend good luck!
