I agree with what you said eariler, if a breeder is unexperienced and has doubts, for peace of mind just call the vet or go see the vet. I have plenty of experience with my dogs but talking to someone over the internet and not really being there and seeing for yourself, sometimes it is hard to tell others what to do. All I can do is relay what I would do. I have had several females go 69 days and many went over 63 days and none of them every had problems delivering. Like you said the biggest concern would be a large puppy but even then you would still want the female to start labor and try to deliver naturally.
