I am sure when someone chooses to own a pit, they are aware of the contraversy surrounding them. So it shouldnt be a surprise when someone has a negative reaction to them.

Murderers and pedofiles have all chosen to and been convicted of doing something wrong.
Dogs are dogs. They cannot conciously make a decision the way that a human being who commits a crime can. And not ALL pitbulls are killers. That is what she was getting at. Just because the BREED in GENERAL has been "known" to do things, doesn't mean they all have and they should all be punished for it.
