I really like the retractable but I get so nervous that one day it will just snap. I had Lily on the retractable leash once and she ran around me in a circle, my hand slipped and the leash wrapped around my arm and sliced me.  It was almost like a burn and now I have a huge scar across my forearm

I think if I got one I would be terrified to use it!
