Has she had a shot recently?? Sometimes when they get shots they will get a knot that can last for months and months.. I have felt them on Babybear and even on my bigger furkids..As a matter of fact on my Olde English Bull Dogge when he gets a shot he gets a welt the size of a golf ball.. I just rub it to get the medicine to move and it takes about a week and it goes away slowly..
If you are really concerned I would take her to the vet.. I hope that it is just a recent shot that has given her the lump and nothing more.
