Well my pup is 5 months tomorrow and will be spayed soon. What do I need to know to ensure a safe surgery and quick recovery? Are there certain procedures or medications I should avoid? Is there a particular age i should wait till? I heard 5-6 months was good. She is around 4.5 lbs now so not a tiny. Any and all advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im quite nervous on having her go under anesthesia.
