Question Do you use a hair dryer, forced air dryer or towel dry?

I have always used a regular hair dryer set on the lowest heat setting to dry my dogs. But I have been reading alot about how bad the heat is for a yorkies hair and skin. I have noticed that Lizzy & Cutter both seem to have dry skin with some signs of dandruff at times. Maybe I'm a little slow (lol), but I just recently discovered that the dryer my groomer uses is actually only blowing air, not heat. This of course after they have been in with the cage dryer for a bit. I have priced these forced air dryers and find them to be quite exspensive. By the way, both of my dogs HATE the hair dryer, which is another reason I was considering the forced air dryer. It seems that with the long hose attachment that most of the noise is in the tank of the dryer and not right in the ear as with a regular hair dryer. Does that make any sense?
I would just be interested to hear some feedback on what others are doing and using.
