If she doesn't eat the wet food, then I would pick it up. I don't think it's a good idea to leave wet food down for two long because bacteria can begin to grow.
I don't see anything wrong with free feeding and leaving the food down, but if you want to keep her on a schedule, then this may not be a possibility. Does she show any signs of hypoglycemia?
