Deborah~ funny, I've taken Pepcid myself before and the AC doesn't bother me, but the Complete DOES! Isn't that weird?

I read somewhere in my internet searching about giving dogs Pepto....the vet said that dogs HATE it and you'd probably get more ON them and you than you get INTO them....he was absolutely correct about that.

Now, someone mentioned using Kaopectate, and I haven't gotten around to checking the ingredients, but I went to pick some up the other day and they only had Peppermint flavored, which I KNEW wasn't going to go down any better than the pepto did, and I know they've got one that's white...have no idea what it tastes like, but they didnt' have it where I went to get it. When I went to inquire about it, the pharmacist told me that Pepto and Kaopectate have the same active ingredients....I never realized that, and I'm a little embarrassed, being an nurse, that I didn't know. Not that I gave much of it to my patients but I'm sure that I've given them at least once in my career! So, now I need to go look THAT up, LOL.
