I usually just throw a ball for Olivia so it tires her out running back and forth. Or, I'll play tug-o-war with her with a toy- that requires nearly no effort since yorkies are so small. If I really have a headache or something, I'll get the cat to play with her. He probably is swearing at me as she jumps all over him and bites him- but mom needs a break sometimes!!

The pitching machine is a great idea, by the way!
