I think high income and low income families can do it - if they want to. Some have the $ for yorkies, and don't take care of them. $ doesn't make a good pet owner........

I think in some cases ALL PETS should be expensive, so that you have to THINK and have an investment in your pet so you don't just neglect them and dump them. My heart breaks for all the pet owners that don't care.........
But it is true - that FREE makes for less attentive owners at times, not always.....
