Tatums gets them too but the ones we have are the little clover burrs. They are not sharp - kinda flat and soft. I do the same as above and just pull the hair away from it and they come out easily. I just chalk this up to one of the pains of living in the country.
I'm very glad we don't have the sharp ones!
