When my Oliver was that age, he was the same way. He would go wild too. I agree with don't give up! I also didn't let him have his way -- sometimes it took a LONG time to get him all brushed out. I would brush for a few minutes and take a break and massage him. I think the little mini massages helped relax him. When he calmed down, I started brushing again. It seemed like a puppy thing. He still doesn't like brushing, but he doesn't fight anymore at all with me or his groomer. Your baby will outgrow it too. (although its sort of a relief to hear someone else's baby acts that way too -- I though mine was just a nut!!) |
