Milligrams and milliliters are two different things. You have to know how many milligrams (mgs) in one milliliter (ml or CC) . Every drug is different and has different concentrations. On the package it should tell you something like "12mgs in each 2.5mls" or "5mgs per ml". So if the dose is 2.5mls, how many mgs dose it say the doseage is? ( 25mgs or 12.5mgs or something else)?
I'm like Ladymom. I keep 25mg tabs on hand and can half or quarter them when needed for the dogs/cats. The tabs are easier to give than the liquid, IMO. Check with your vet for a correct dose per you baby's weight.
