Thanks for the kind words but nothing will erase my guilty feelings. It's a true privilege to have these babies in our care and I can't help but feel that I failed her. She was 11 weeks old and a tiny 14 oz. I learned a hard lesson from this experience but Dani is the one that had to pay for it. It's amazing just how attached you can become to these babies so quickly; they truly are a gift.
