YorkieRose, I appreciate the truth in your post. I think that most people who are interested in breeding without understanding the responsibility, risk, and impact probably know five other people who have had casual litters "successfully" (I know we knew several families that had litters when we were growing up and thought nothing of it at the time) and don't often heed the heavy warnings.
Woogie Man, your story along with the others are so sad, especially told with the pain so evident. Those are stories that may reach people eventually. Unfortunately, maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday the pain that you shared will sink in. |
