I would see how he does for a little while, unless you think there's a real possibilty that he got into something poisonous.
A lot of times it seems like they get an stomach upset for lots of different reasons....if he's not vomiting and doesn't have diarrhea, but just isn't eating, I'd watch him. Don't try to get him to eat until he is actually interested in food (which should not be more than a day)....and then don't give him very much, and see how he does. Also, watch his poops. That's a really good indicator (I've found) of whether something is off or not.
Sometimes they've got something going on and if it's a problem like pancreatitis or gastritis, they'll vomit and/or have diarrhea. In which case, I'd get to the vet to have them do some bloodwork. Sometimes, they've eaten something that just doesn't agree with them (or they ate too much and/or too fast) and they don't feel good. Or, they ate something that REALLY doesn't agree with them (like my Max will eat cigarette butts) and then later on, be sick...where he finds them I don't know unless it's the gardeners...). You have to watch them pretty closely though, I've definitely learned that. And one of the best things you can teach your pup is "DROP IT".....when you see him picking up ANYTHING that you didn't give him or know what it is! Good luck with your baby. Hope he's feeling better by now....
