Originally Posted by MansfieldsMom  i dont know whats wrong with him. im not sure if its something he ate or what. this morning when i woke up i filled his bowl with food and he took a couple laps of food and shyed away. he then followed me back to my bedroom and went under the bed. there was no noise so i figured he was layind down under there, then i heard what sounded to be him throwing up. so i looked under the bed and pulled out all of our luggage, but saw nothing. around 3pm, my boyfriend called me at work and asked me what was wrong with him and why didnt he eat his food this morning? i told him that i didnt know what was wrong, but i noticed that he didnt eat that much this morning, but i figured he just wanted to follow me around instead. what we normally do is feed him 1/2 pedigree canned pup food and 1/2 hard dry pedigree bagged food. sometimes just for a change of pace, we will fill a small treat bowl with dry food only, so he can snack throughout the day, as well as feed him his regular mixture in the morning. so, my bf decided to try just giving him dry food. it worked. he ate it. so, now i am home from work, and i gave him some more dry food, about 10 or 12 pieces, just enough to let him know i missed him while i was away at work. so i go and sit down, and he follows me and lays down on the floor by my feet. after about 15 minutes of him laying there, i begin to hear his stomach rumble, so i remembered this sound from when he chocked on the raw hide and threw it up, so i immedeatly began patting and rubbing his back and then he threw up. im not exactly sure if he ate more of the food he shyed from earlier, or if he got ahold to something around the house, which is what my bf thinks since manny refused the food earlier. he seems kind of weak, and i guess i would be too if i only weighed 2.8lbs. but he seems to be sleeping a lot( my bf says he slept a lot while i was at work, he's sleeping next to me now.), not as playful as normal, should i try to give him something? if so what? |
