Not a problem. He is old enough to handle it. When he is out with anesthesia, his metabolism slows. They really do just fine. Bring some food from home with you when you check in. The staff will feed it to him as soon as he is ready to eat. If he is having teeth removed at the same time, that food should probably be canned.
