Hi, Lauren.

It appears we are in the same boat. I had my girls on Evangers, then when the problems occurred with the canned food, I went back to NV raw medallions, only to have Kia cut her tiny mouth on a bone fragment and have a bout of vomiting and mucousy stool. I am back to home-cooking. But, like you, I would really like to get back on raw, because I feel it does have so many benefits.

I think, our safest bet may be doing the raw diet with fresh food, so that if a problem arises, we aren't left guessing what was in the food.

I had been home-cooking for quite a long time, then a spine disease landed me in bed for a year and a half, and I've only been back on my feet since the end of November. And even at that, not 100%.

I'm feeling rather disheartened with the pet food industry.
