exactly. So many pet owners don't understand that they need to brush their dogs teeth. Their teeth are no different from ours (well except for being the teeth of a carnivore

. If we didn't brush our teeth regularly, our teeth would rott out of our mouth, be stinky, and painful. Same with dogs...their teeth don't clean themselves. A prey-model raw diet with raw meaty bones does clean the teeth, but that is the only diet that does. Every other diet needs regular teeth brushing to keep them plaque and tarter free. Otherwise, the teeth get tarter on them, the start to rott, and you have major problems. Dogs and cats are living longer now that more pet owners are brushing and cleaning the teeth regularly.
