Canned definitely. I will never feed kibble again. And kibble does not benefit the teeth...the grains and carbs stick to the teeth and cause plaque and tarter just like canned food does. It would be like us eating cookies and cereal and expecting them to clean our teeth...they just don't and neither does kibble. The idea that kibble cleans teeth is a myth. The only diet that cleans the teeth is a prey-model raw diet. Canned food is less processed and overcooked, and the moisture makes it a lot closer to what a dog was designed to eat.
