That's what I was thinking. We never know what all is going on at the other end. I am sure she was very happy to receive your gift. That was a wonderful gesture.
I can totally understand you feeling bad. It is only natural.
She could have simply overlooked her "Thank You" by mistake with all she had to deal with, or was waiting for a better time. It wouldn't hurt to call her and see how shes recovering and ask if she received/enjoyed them. If she is that close of a friend, please don't let something as small as this come between you. Talk to her.
