Aww, reading your post made me cry. Just b/c you're SUCH a wonderful sister and it sounds like you and your brothers are such good friends. You're so very lucky in that! And it's apparent that your brother loves you too; how he includes you in everything, and wants to talk to you about it; he obviously trusts you with his deepest feelings. That kind of trust is very special and very difficult to come by.

I know this is the sad thing about relationships; sometimes they last and sometimes not...but you never know....maybe things will work out for your brother and his gf.....they're both young and sometimes you just need to get out and do your own thing for awhile before you realize how much you truly love and care about someone. It wouldn't be the first time!

What a special relationship you have with his gf (or ex, I guess). I know what it's like b/c I had older uncles and they got married. One of the wives was like my hero~ smart, beautiful, funny, and so worldly (to me when I was in 9th grade)...and she hung out with me. It was so hard for me when they split up....but we've remained friends thru all these years. Sometimes you just have to give it a little time. Let her know how much her friendship has meant to you and how much you cherished it. Sometimes it's the little things we let other people know that makes them see the bigger picture too.

I hate when stuff happens and it bursts the nice little bubble we live in sometimes! You've got a great group of people around you, and you've lost a relationship too. And I bet they feel badly about it for you. Just try to maintain both friendships~ your brother and his gf. All the best ~
