I love to ride horses and love horses!!! I know these horses are well taken care of and pampered but the cruelest thing about this sport is that they race the sh*t out of colts and fillies that are not full grown. A horse is not full grown until it is 5 or 6 years old. These horses are being pushed to the limit at 2 and 3 years of age. Its no wonder that there are so many "accidents" on the track. And all of this because it is not cost effective to keep a horse until it is full grown to make $$$$$$$$$$$$ on it. So it is in fact a cruel sport.
