Little Benoni (Benny) comes home ...
It was a tough decision! There were 2 boys to choose from, let's say A and B.
A was darker in color.
A was active and curious.
A liked to bite.
B was lighter, looked better to me (realizing they change of course).
B was calm and very sleepy.
B warmed up as we held him more.
They both gave kisses and were super happy puppies!
When we came in they both were scrambling to get to us and give kisses and get love. My wife and I each carried one into the other room where we talked with the breeder for a while while deciding. I was leaning towards A for personality, B for coloring and calmness. In the end we flipped a coin ... heads for Mr Light head (B) ... heads it was!
Then of course we're second guessing the whole thing ... so we put them both back in the pen and B was sticking his paws through the gate, tail going nuts ... while A was shrieking like a banshee and crying so bad to be held ...
So we stuck with the coin flip, donned B Benoni (Benny) ... and started the 3+ hour drive home! He was very good in the car. He only whimpered a few times. Then we took him to meet his new sister (on neutral ground of course) ... We all went home and spent the afternoon playing and going for little potty walks!
He cried at night ... but I held my ground (except once 'cause it sounded like bloody murder). We went out a few times and he potty'd ... he's a good little booger so far!
