well said Sue...isnt the whole point of breeding pure bred yorkies to keep the best standards of the breed going....i may not have said that right but i think you guys know what im trying to say.....what get's me is all these breeders (well not all) but alot of them here in good ole Tennessee...think that everyone wants a ""tiny"" yorkie.....well they need to get the facts...i would never knowingly breed for tinies....tooo many health issues and too high of a mortality risk....these are our babies....and when the time comes and i feel that i am ready to get a female for a breeding mate to my Smokey it will be because i feel that he would be a good sire for the standard of the breed and the same for the Dam....
