Hi there and welcome to YT!!! My best advice for a new puppy owner is a potty training tip. When you bring your new baby home take her directly outside first, put her down where you want her to go potty in the future...then wait...yes, it may take awhile but she will eventually go potty. Praise her when she does, give her a cue such as "go potty" or "hurry up"...it works...it really works. Then and only then is she allowed indoors. Watch her carefully, crate her when you can't. Take her outside frequently and always make a big deal when she does her thing outside. They really are very smart and want nothing more than to please you.
