I just bathed Sadie yesterday for the first time. She wasn't real thrilled with it either. I tried to do it as quickly as possible. I used the bathroom sink and put a rubbermaid mat in the sink so she wouldn't slide around.
I had 2 towels and we went outside after I bathed her. It was horribly hot and humid out yesterday and so it was great to sit out there and hold her and keep her warm until she stopped shaking.
I switched towels after a little while so that she was in a dry towel. She seemed to be ok after that. She started to run around and shake and I combed her. Then in a little while she ate and curled up in my lap for a nice nap. |
