From this post the information in my head is ...Now i am reading that this pup is 5 months old, you had her given to you for free because she is suffering with dragging her legs...still has not been seen by a vet for diagnosis of her medical conditions...IMHO when you took this pup in it should have been taken to a vet immediately.

The info in my head here is.....You put in your profile that you are a vets assistant, unemployed at the moment and was not financialy secure to be taking this pet into your home, knowing that she would need medical attention right away because of her medical conditions...and a vet assistant not knowing when puppy teeth come in ...hmmmm and then you talk of having her put to sleep, is this not what you were trying to save this precious baby from....hmmm

Now you are telling me that you were only holding the puppy until it reaches a final destination,,,, then why were you going to invest in getting this pups legs "fixed" if you had no intention on keeping the baby....as for not seeking treatment because offices close at noon ...well thats what emergency clinics are for....
Sorry if i have offened you but i only posted on the information that you posted in the forum....I am glad that you took this pup in for treatment...I truely hope the best for you!
Well, I wanted peoples advice, to try to help me figure out if it was parvo or could be something else.. I didn't ask your honest opinion.. and the reason I was having her legs fixed is cause I felt sorry for her, I was going to have them fixed for her and find her a new home.. I didn't have the money at the moment.. but I was going to have yard sales and see if I could come up wtih the money or maybe a payment plan. My husband said he didn't want another animal.. so he doesn't want anything to do with her, and isn't going to pay for anything for her.. so if I want her, I have to come up with the money on my own. Vet assistants don't know everything. I know when baby teeth come in.. but she has already lost them.. I didn't know they would all fall out at once... b/c none of my other animals has ever fallen out at once. So, when I looked in her mouth and didn't see any teeth I was a little concerned. And yes.. to the person who said you can't see the vet clinics turning anyone away.. tell that to all the clinics I called last night that wouldn't even hold a check on us.. tell that to my friend who had to take her baby home and watch it die cause she didn't have 500.00 for treatment up front, tell that to my husbands parents, who's dog had gastric dilation in the middle of the night was in severe pain, and the vet wouldn't even see him unless they had 200.00 upfront plus the money to have his tummy fixed...so he had to be put to sleep.
