Race horses are very spoiled and very well cared for. Most of them actually enjoy the race because they can run. The little whip that is used by the jockies, called a crop, does not hurt a horse. It is the sound it makes that scares them and makes them run faster. Maybe all horse riding should be ban then? Please inform yourself before making an opinion on such matters. I have worked at a track and have worked with horses all my life and there is nothing cruel about racing or riding horses!
