Thanks again everyone for replying & giving me lots of info
They've helped me a lot.

Turns out I won't get the Yorkie, but a maltese instead. I get to choose whether I would want a boy or girl because my friend's grandmother gave the boy maltese back & the owner of the dog let my friend choose whichever puppy he wants.

From what my friend says:
-The 2 boys have tears, one likes playing running around & playing & yips a little, while the other just likes to stay by your side all the time & is mute. But the bad thing is that they're not trained to potty. From what the owner says, they just hold it in as long as they can & then go where ever but they're neutered.
-The 3 girls are white as snow with no tears & are fluffy. They're a bit more playful. They demand attention though by running to you & getting on their legs & whining. But one girl did this a lot, I'm not sure if she wanted attention for a little while & then to leave. Also, they liked to be played with & petted more than to be cuddled with. They yip & bark a little but they're trained to go on peepads & outside. Also, they've learned sit already & the owner says they're easier to train. Oh & 2 girls have been spayed so far.

Any suggestions? I'm super confused, they all sound so wonderful!

I'm not sure which one to pick from since I can't go to see them(I live in CA & the pups & my friend are over in NJ). I wish the girls were boys since I'm much more of a boy animal person.

& I have a few more questions.
They're all about 5-6months old so I'm wondering if I decided on the 2nd boy, would it be just a little too late to train him to use peepads/go outside?? & since he always wants to be by your side, if I were gone(school), would he have a lot of anxiety etc??

Thanks in advance for any reply &/or answers
All replies help me a lot so thanks again!
