Drinking more water would make them pee more but it shouldn't effect the stool. Loki drinks 3 times what a normal dog his size would and his poop is not runny. You're only talking about enough water to soak kibble so it can't be the extra water that is causing the problem.

What's wrong with canned food? Or why don't you try Canidae kibble. It's very good for Loki's sensitive tummy.
I did try Canidae senior and it caused a huge stomach upset- not sure if it was the pancreatitis episode or a IBD episode? But I hear Canidae is good for IBD so that was why I tried it. I was worried that maybe the wellness wgt mgt contained a lot of "undigestible fibers" I got that from the dog food anyaysis website. Maybe she had to much of the canidae. I tried to mix it with the wellness. I did about 30 pcs of the canidae but maybe it was too much to start. I often thought maybe I could try it again and start very very slowly like introduce a few pieces at a time. And do this over 4 wks or so, not a like 7-10 days as we normally did when we made a change to food.
