As a school teacher, I know of a family who had a pittbull that turned on their child one morning. The child was not supposed to let the dog on the bed. He went to try to get him off and was attacked in the face. From this he is unable to go to school and has had to have extensive surgeries because the pitt destroyed his face. Another friend had one and it got loose and ripped off a neighbor's dog's leg. Both dogs were raised in loving homes. Many have to be muzzled. My wonder is why would you ever want a dog around young children and others if it has to be muzzled. |
