Personally, I think Pitbulls have gotten a bad rap. It's not the dog that is dangerous it's the idiots that have gotten their hands on them and have made them into killers. ANY DOG including a lab or golden can be a dangerous dog if tortured and this is what is done to pitts when being trained for fighting. With that said, I also don't believe it's a good idea to have big dogs with small Yorkies. It's not the fact that they will intentionally hurt them but because of the size difference it puts your Yorkies at risk. I think someone posted on here that their lab who never bit was being annoyed by her Yorkie and it just snappped and nipped and in one nip broke her Yorkies neck and it was dead. I know even my little ones will fight with each other over toys etc. now put a big dog in the mix and I think you may be asking for trouble. Just my .02. Elaine |
