Connie I have had red bile before...only to discover that Twisty was chewing on a red wheel that is attached to the baby playpen...you may want to check around and see if anything is accessable for her to chew in that color...I too was frantic until I discovered what it was...you were right to take her to the vet, it could be something as simple but better to know for sure!
