Actually, I think she's right. I think a lot of people probably think this way. You have an excellent idea there, but what about trying a different marketing strategy? Advertise it as a luxury spa/whatever towards HUMANS and put the pet services on there as a bonus--it will add to the luxury appeal of your business. It's all about amenities. Then, you could also advertise the grooming salon seperately as "The grooming salon inside of _______." The dog salon could still be your main focus, but you'll be appealing to a broader range of clientele by advertising this way. But, that's JMO.
