We are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach within the next month or 2. I have a yorkie puppy, 14 weeks next Wednesday. My question is...is it okay to take him with us? It will be a long drive...7 1/2 to 8 hours if we have good trafiic and do not stop to eat for any length of time. This is my first inside dog. I have a ferret, but she does not go places with us. I have been walking Storm on a leash to get him used to it. I think it could be a lot of fun! I have an 8-year-old and 10-year-old boy, plus my husband who is really just an overgrown kid too. I don't want to take on too much.

Have any of ya'll took trips with your puppies?

Oh, and would the beach by too hot for him?!
