It's very funny that you started this thread. I've almost started the same one a couple times over the last week.

Eddie is very cooperative with toothbrushing, but I'm never sure if I'm brushing well enough. I use a finger brush and try to brush up and down all the way back. But it's difficult because my fingers are roughly the size of small logs.

It's good to read what others do. Maybe a toothbrush would be easier. Problem is, he prefers my fingers.
