So today when I went outside to take out the trash, Xena sneaked by me and started running!
I kept calling her and she wouldn't listen, I was so scared! There is a busy street right by my condo and she was heading that way.
I have been watching "It's Me or the Dog" every morning and I remembered Victoria always says dogs like to chase and you have to act like you're having a good time if you want them to come to you. So I started calling her in a high pitched voice like when we play and she immediately stopped in her tracks. I thought "Holy cow this really works!" I kept it going and was like come on Xena, you want a toy, you want a treat, and she came back and ran back inside the door! I was amazed and relieved! I have never had something work so quickly!
