My husband and I were really worried about that when we decided to get Darby. sawyer is the love of our lives, totally devoted to us. We too were afraid he would either switch his affections to the new puppy, or be very jealous. We were worried for no reason it seems. Sawyer loves Darby to death; but we are still the stars in his sky. They play great together, and the only jealousy we see is because Sawyer thinks Darby is HIS puppy. He gets pushy when we play with Darby, because he wants him all to himself. Lol Sawyer is a very loving dog though, he loves all animals, is great with kids, and never has shown any aggression. If he was not good with other dogs, I would not have done this. It has been great for us, and now we love Darby almost as much as Sawyer.
