The Biewer originated in Germany, it is from 2 standard Yorkies but Mr. Biewer wrote a standard for the colors and where they should fall on the dog. The Biewer keeps it's tail and they are not recognized by the AKC...they are still registered in Germany or in one of the many American Biewer registries. The Biewer can be shown in several rare breed venues including IABCA, NAKC and ARBA. |

Now knowing that, I think I want a parti instead of a biewer, because I don't care if it is the right color where, I just like that they are multicolored!
