Simon first barked at himself in a mirror that was on the floor. I laughed so hard and immediately called my mom so she could hear him. It sounded like a squeak at first and then I think he scared himself. He talked to that "other dog" in the mirror for a long time. I love that moment so much.
Hallie was 2.5 when I got her and very quiet. The first time she barked at me was because she wanted me to pick her up and even though she wasn't a puppy it was still something I remember
