I can really relate to the way you are feeling.

I lost my darling, constant companion, Tiffany, 12 years ago, this past February.

I didn't feel I would ever want another Yorkie..ever...the hurt was that deep.

And a few months later, my husband came home from work, talking about a Yorkie video he had seen on TV.

I resented him, a lot, for even enjoying the video. (You can call me crazy, too.)

Well, long story short, we ended up getting Sydney, 3 months after Tiffany "Crossed the Bridge".

I had only agreed to go out and look at puppies, choose a breeder, for a year from that time. And I made that clear to the breeder.

And the day we looked at Sydney, she was not available, her breeder was keeping her...but, she called later and offered her to us.

The first night we had her home, and my husband went to work, there I was with this new puppy in my arms and the guilt washed over me like a storm.
I was ready to take her back.

Even when her breeder came to visit two weeks later, I was willing to give her back, if she changed her mind.

It took time, but soon that little puppy won my heart. She just turned 12 years old April 17th.

So, just close your eyes and let your heart lead the way.
