Does your dog give you signals to let him out? Oliver is nearing five months now and he's been doing quite well with his training over the past couple days, he's only had one accident. I'm very proud!
Anyway, when I let him out (on a pretty consistent schedule) he'll pee immediately, but he'll still go in the house if he has to go. Just keeping him on a schedule doesn't seem to be enough. We have two other dogs, a pekingese and a medium sized female (not sure of her breed) and they'll bark or rattle the beads hanging from the door when they need to go out, and I was hoping Oliver would do that as well but it doesn't look like he's going to.
So, do you have any tips to help us get him to tell us when he has to go? Other than bell training- if he won't even go by the door, I don't think he'll go for that. |
