It has been two years since we lost our Pom 'Tina' (we had her 15
1/2 years)
To tell you the truth I wish we had got a pup long before now (Tink is 20 wks).
I have forgotten what pleasure and love they bring.
Having a pup does not mean you love the dog you lost less, as nothing will wipe the memories you have of them and that special place you hold in your heart for them.
My husband dug his heals in for a good year saying, “no more dogs, it is too heart breaking when you lose them”
BUT….he loves Tink as much as me and she is a real Daddy’s girl….He also admits, it was right to get another dog.
